I have heard from one tenant that his basement flat was flooded last week and I know that Jeremy Green has been liaising with him in trying to sort matters out. The pictures look awful and I do sympathise. 

If the weather has damaged your flat the right thing to do is to contact Jeremy. He will liaise with you and with insurers , if that is necessary. Note that your own stuff , your household goods , which includes carpets and flooring , should be covered by your own household contents policy.
